We learned about Rhodes, the Phoenicians, the Minoans, the Dorians, architectural choices made by the Athenians when building the Parthenon, brass on the shores of Lake Superior, the origins of the Greek single-shoulder toga, and St. Fanourios. It is difficult to express how fascinating and comprehensive this tour was. Kostas tied it all together with stories. Also he got us to the coast just in time to view an incredible sunset!
